Education:  Katrina received a BS in Sociology and a Masters of Education degree in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Sociology from Delta State University.  She received a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from the Exodus School of the Bible. Katrina has 15 years of educational leadership experience on the Higher Education and k12 levels.

 

Entrepreneur: Katrina N. Sanders, M.Ed.  is a makeup artist/teacher, beauty enhancer, strategist, humanitarian, philanthropist, public speaker, mentor, healthy lifestyles coach,  and empowerment leader.  Like many women, she has had to face difficult life experiences.  However, she never stopped embracing the beauty of life and femininity in womanhood.  Her passion is for women to connect with their inner beauty through the enhancement of their God-given feminine attributes. She uses makeup as a strategic tool to empower women to see their own strengths because she believes confident women make better life choices and better decisions.   She imparts that passion into every aspect and detail of Glam Studio 5.  Her vision and the ultimate goal is that each client who comes through the doors of Glam Studio 5 will leave feeling more glamorous, beautiful, and powerful than ever, inside and out. She has been a makeup artist since 2007 and launched Glam Studio 5, LLC in 2015. In 2022, She connected her love for faith, health,  and wellness to Beauty and launched a Unisex t-shirt line called BE Fit with her co-owner / best friend, Lewadric Richard. The Mission of Be Fit and its sister brand GLAM and FIT are to encourage people to protect their health mentally and physically through fitness and just MOVE their body to improve their health.

 

Hobbies/ Favorite Past Time: My hobbies include traveling the world, trying new experiences, spa days, Christian missionary service to my local church and the surrounding community, studying make-up techniques and applications on YouTube, and reading relationship/motivational books, and word search puzzles. I spend my free time mentoring students to make healthy life choices and prepare for academic success. I am passionate about helping students strategically reach their maximum potential.
